The local pub „Zur Krone“, Germany’s oldest pub built from stone, is home to the Hachenburger beers. For more than 300 years, the first stone house of Hachenburg has stood for a place of hospitality.
Constructed in the 14th century, the “Steinerne Huys” was first mentioned in 1707 as a pub and brewery-bar. In those days, the charming structure was at the center of the economic- and commerciale life of the “Sayn county “. Today, the Krone Pub is a location for get-togethers. In addition to tasting Hachenburger beer, guests can experience real Hachenburger stories in the proper style hotel.
