Westerwald Lake District
Picturesquely situated at an altitude of more than 400 m, the plateau with the seven ponds (Dreifelder Weiher, Postweiher, Brinkenweiher, Hofmannsweiher, Haidenweiher, Hausweiher and Wölferlinger Weiher) of the Westerwald Lake District is bordered by gentle hills in the north and extends to the Saynbach valley in the south.

Wildpark - Bad
Marienberg
Go stalking, listen to the game in its natural environment. Watch the wild boars roaming around, the coexistence of red and fallow deer, bison, llamas, zebus, highland cattle, pheasants and peacocks. A visit to the game park is always worthwhile. Enjoy the peace and tranquility.
The wildlife park is open all year round, from dawn to dusk, whatever the weather and at any time of year.

Birkenhof Brennerei Nistertal
Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience with a distillery tour, a full-day distillery course, the popular "whisky tasting" or simply a convivial evening of enjoyment. Let us take you into the world of our Westerwald spirits delicacies and fine brandies. We will share our enthusiasm with you and let you take a look behind the scenes.

Stöffel-Park - Enspel
A visit to the Stöffel Tertiary, Industrial and Adventure Park, part of the Westerwald-Lahn-Taunus Geopark, is worthwhile for young and old. In Enspel, in the upper Westerwald, visitors can expect a setting reminiscent of an abandoned gold mining town. In addition to the impressive buildings of the Adrian company's basalt mining operations from the 20th century, much older treasures can be found on the 140-hectare site.
Hachenburger Kultur Zeit
For 30 years, Hachenburger KulturZeit has been bringing a breath of fresh culture to the Westerwald. Sometimes it's stormy and wild with open-air concerts, sometimes excitingly funny with cabaret and then refreshingly innovative with unusual festivals that will be remembered for a long time.
Because whether well-known names such as BAP, Konstantin Wecker, Meret Becker with Ars Vitalis or TV stars such as Dieter Nuhr, Sascha Grammel and René Marik, they all had and still have Hachenburg in their calendar.

Parkhotel Hachenburg
The Parkhotel Hachenburg is located directly on the green castle garden and offers a wonderful view. In the 72 comfortable rooms and junior suites you will find it easy to relax - from exploring the beautiful city and region, from the day's business meetings or from an exciting conference.

Camping in the Hachenburger Westerwald
There is a free RV parking space in the center of Hachenburg. Camping and tent sites are also available in Stein-Wingert, Heuzert and at Dreifelder Weiher, among others. Further information is available on the Hachenburger Westerwald Tourist Information website.
